Revitalizing Horseshoe Bay Park

Image of Horseshoe Bay Park.

The District is working to revitalize Horseshoe Bay Park and create a gathering space for residents and visitors alike. The goal is to create a free-flowing connected park space from the Horseshoe Bay Pier all the way to the BC Ferries terminal.

Public Meeting

Thank you to everyone that attended the public meeting on Wednesday, December 5 at Gleneagles Community Centre where we unveiled the new park concept design.

The design captures ideas you shared with us at the last public meeting (in 2017) and in the previous survey (in January 2018).

Combined with input from the volunteer Horseshoe Bay Advisory Group, the updated park design features changes that address the needs of many park users.

We are excited to share the park concept design with you!

The design is featured on page 5 of the document, however, we suggest you take a browse through all of the boards from the public meeting for a review of the:

  • past consultation feedback
  • site opportunities and challenges

Survey

The survey is now closed. The deadline to complete the survey was Thursday, January 31 at 4 p.m.

Now that we have a park concept design, we asked which park features are most important to you. This information will help us plan and budget for implementation.
