On January 27, 2020, Council received the Phase 2 progress report and engagement summary and directed staff to proceed to Phase 3 of the LAP process.

Application Deadline for LAP Advisory Roundtable

This Horseshoe Bay Local Area Plan Advisory Roundtable will assist District staff by providing feedback and acting as a sounding board for the preparation of the Local Area Plan for Horseshoe Bay. Deadline to apply was Friday, May 3, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. and we have received many interested volunteers. Thank you for those who have applied!

Council approval of Terms of Reference and direction to proceed

On March 11, 2019, Council directed staff to commence the Horseshoe Bay local area planning process to create a new plan for the area in accordance with an approved Terms of Reference.
